For anyone who didnt know (and if you didnt, i would hate you), yesterday was my birthday. Like any debutant who did not have parties (I would be killed by guilt if I partied during a family crisis), I was depressed as hell. The gift I wanted wasnt exactly what I wanted and to make matters worse, I was late again for my 8:30 class. But of course, that wasnt new. I thought the day would be... ordinary. I planned a little libre thing for my blockmates, my sisses and my brethren. A pizza for the block, 2 pizzas for the frat. That was enough and so, I went on the day with grief in one hand and hopefulness on the other -- hope that something might come up... something unexpected.
Aside from the Pi Sigma Frat asking blood donations from Mi and I (the moment I saw the people laying on the little folding beds with a bag of 450ml of blood on their chest, I had the urge to check "epileptic" on my form) the day was fairly normal. Mi asked me to smell the wood on the xerox machine and the 'xerox man' was laughing at me so hard because I was sooooooooo gullible. Damn you de Lemos!!!!! Anyway, before I was rudely interrupted by myself, the day was so-so okay. After Hum2, I texted Kuya Neil where the pizza for my block was because Nolan just arrived. He comes to me, pulls me to RH hall, tells me to wait for something I didnt know and pulls Ting and Nolan. I on the other hand was smelling something fishy -- the smoked salmon kind. :P
All of a sudden, Ting and Nolan approach me, each holding a rose. OMG!! I know what he's about to do!!!! Suddenly, all of the brods come to my direction in one straight line each holding a rose... they were my 18 rosesssssss!! They were asking, baka gusto mo isayaw ka pa namin but I was too dumbfounded to reply. Nasa gitna kami ng CAS parking lot so malamang diba, mahihiya ka nalang na matutuwa. The brods escort me to the tambayan and everyone was looking at us. Tim was shouting something like Urong! Urong! Dadaan ang prinsesa!! *blushes again* Then, as I arrive the tambayan, I see the sisses holding candles.... 18 candles kooooooooooooooo!!!! My gad! It was sooooooo overwhelming! So nakahilera na lahat ng sisses sa labas and yung brods, pag pasok ko si Neil nasa loob ng tambayan may hawak na bouquet. *sigh* Everything was too perfect!!!
